DESCRIPTION
The embryo transfer techniques course is an intensive 3-day course that Blanca offers on demand to anyone interested in the subject.

This course is highly interactive and with a strong focus on practical aspects and hands-on experiences (from oocytes to embryos and from ex vivo uterus to real cows and flushing).
Due to the hands-on condition, courses are often planned for a minimum of 20 people to a maximum of 35 people.

  • 10:30 - 11:00 - Coffee break
  • 11:00 - 12:00 - Part 2: flushing technique & embryo grading
  • 12:00 - 13:00 - Guided visit to Ponderosa Holsteins
  • 13:00 - 15:00 - Lunch
  • 15:00 - 19:00 - Group A: Demonstration part 2 - Flushing - Group B: Embryo grading and handling
  • 15:00 - 19:00 - Group B: Demonstration part 2 - Flushing - Group A: Embryo grading and handling

  • 08:30 - 09:30 - Part 3: embryo freezing & labeling, e. micromanipulation
  • 09:30 - 10:30 - Part 4: recipient synchronization & embryo transfer

  • 12:00 - 13:00 - Economical considerations & general discussion

Hands on animal practice: Recipients
