A very special visit

Blanca from the Pyrenees and Ponderosa Holsteins last October 18 had a very special and important visit.
It was a great honor to welcome the President of Catalonia, Mr. Artur Mas in an official visit to our facilities.
The President was also accompanied by the Conseller of Agriculture Mr. Josep Maria Pellegri.

Our president, during his visit, offered full institutional support from the Generalitat of Catalonia to our activities.
For us, it was a very special offer and an important help for the future of our projects.

The two-hour visit was initiated with a presentation about the mission, vision, and structure of Blanca from the Pyrenees, followed by a tour to the facilities of the different units: The class rooms of the campus (Green Unit), the research barn (Red unit), the in vitro fertilization laboratory and the new oocyte extraction room (The blue unit), and the Ponderosa’s barn (Black Unit). The tour ended at the Ponderosa show-room room where all savored a glass of milk and shared an enjoyable view of the best cows.

The President of Catalonia took the occasion to make a toast with a glass of milk wishing good luck and a great future for Blanca from the Pyrenees and Ponderosa Holsteins.
